I am the proud Mom of 2 children: Chris and Karissa and wife to an amazing PE teacher, Dan. After teaching for many years, I am now working as an administrator. I love reading, traveling, exploring the world in our RV, finding a good deal while shopping, enjoying a fun meal, and a really good glass of merlot.

Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Joining the Navy is an opportunity for success for Chris. He is walking a little taller, feeling like the leader (I always knew he was), and the Navy really cares that he will become a man.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi Michelle-My son is in div 067 ship 09 also. This site is a great place to get a lot of info. Tom called Sun evening, but only got to talk 4 minutes. It was great just hearing his voice.
