- My sailor's name is Ethan. He is 19, and is an aviation mechanic, structural. I miss him a lot, but he is doing an important job and I am very proud of him! He also just got married and has given me a daughter! I hope and pray that they are happy in their new life together and am looking forward to the new title someday of "Grandma"!

We drove from here to NO back in April think the only thing that saved us was just stopping every 2-3 hours if only for a few minutes. I know it adds to drive time but I found it necessary. Maybe pull out some of the games we played with the kids on road trips? Last year I had to drive from JAX to Atlanta with our 35 yr old daughter, as a joke I got her a coloring book and crayons - do you know that child did some serious coloring!

If you've got a CD player, have you ever tried the recorded books? And I got an adapter for the iPod so I can play it through the radio I'm sure there are a lot of dead zones so I was happy to have something to keep me occupied. Hubby put Sirius in his truck when he was driving to/from Knoxville, it's great too but he hogs it.
