What a terrible tragedy in Texas today. What is happening to our country? And the men & women who serve it, to live in fear on their own soil. Prayers go out to the lost and wonded...

Things have been quite a rollercoaster w/ finances. Finally finding peace thru Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace University! Thanking God for our eyes being opened to the trap of DEBT and Credit.

Karen, thanks for your welcoming message. I just came back from TN and Meridian, MS where my sailor is attending advance school. It was so nice to see him again. I am looking forward to meet you all in the next gathering. Please keep me posted. Thanks again.

Hi Karen!
My son is in Pensacola and will start A School in the next couple of weeks. He's doing great and really made a great decision. I live in Plantation and we have been doing landscaping and outdoor work for weeks. I'm ready for a vacation!
Thanks for the invite!

Hi, Karen.

My daughter is doing good. She is in school, it is only 6 weeks long. She finished BC in February. How does your son like San Diego? How long has he been in? I hope to see you at the meet & greet. I am just waiting to find out if we will be home that weekend.

Well we were out boating this weekend and I need to finish cleaning. . talk to you soon.

Hi!! nice to hear from you again. Before my son left I asked him what he wanted to do and he told me a bar-b-q. It was very nice, all his friends came, many pictures were taken and I am sure he enjoyed the time very much. That night was horrible, he came to my room, cried a lot, told me how much he loved me and he was like a little baby very close to me for about two hours. Things now are getting better, I have received three letters, the first was kind of sad but i know he is feeling better now. He is in division 934, I don't know exactly what he is doing there but eventually I will know. Graduation is July 17th and I can't wait to see my son again. I miss him so much but I know this is a positive experience. Keep in touch!!!

It would be nice to have a meet and greet in Broward, it's minutes away from me. Hopefully I can meet more Navy Moms closer to home.

Hi Karen, nice to hear from you. George is a Gas Turbine Systems Mechanic on Stockdale. Yes he did come from Great Lakes, reported aboard in January this year. He went through bootcamp last May-July then A school Sept-Nov and took some leave before he had to report to Maine. We were just down there visiting again for Memorial Day wknd, was great to be able to spend some time with him.
