My son in on hold for A school he is a FC Fire controlmen. He will be there at least a year.
I'm so happy, I thought my son was going to be alone on Thanksgiving in GL, he just had his PIR 11/13. But he told me today that he and two other Sailors are going to a Sailor house near GL. He gets to come home for Christmas!

my son Nick went to A School in Great Lakes yesterday, I missed his call last night. But he got to talk to his brother and gave him his new address. It was so good to see him at his graduation, now im counting down to Christmas!

Wanted to stop by and welcome you to the AECF group. You will find it to be an active and supportive group to the members. Our son is also...Nick. He is an FC and recently graduated from C school and has reported to his first ship in Hawaii! His dad was also an FC for 10 years so we are partial to the FC rate but both ET and FCs are great rates with lots of schooling on the front end.
