Wilma- Yes that is true. My son Brian classed up today and he is CTT. He called me at lunch and said there were about 20 people in his class. Yea!! Finally classed up and starting to learn what they entered the Navy for!

good morning all. this my first time in the site sinc surgery last friday, ples excuse spelling issues - i am on dilaudid so verydrugged.
I got seven letters last night when I got home from work. I had hoped for a phone call but no call. Brian passed his PT! I am so happy for him! I am looking forward to seeing everyone at PIR on 06/05/09.
Right now though I could use your prayers ...

Wendy (Div 226) said… - Hi Nancy, I have recieved letters. 3 in one day, last Thusday. The first 2 were pretty good but the 3rd wrote on Mother's Day wasn't. It was very short and he let me know he was getting depressed because he hadn't gotten any letters from me. I had sent 6 by that point. It is killing me to know that he hasn't gotten any of my letters. I hope by now he has gotten them. I so need to hear from him. It would help me and him out so much. Thank you for all your kind words. It seems since he has left I have went from being happy and joking all the time to being sad all the time. Thank you so much!!!!!

- Hi Nancy - My son is in Div 929 graduation June 5th - he too is going to Pensacola as a CTR. How old is your son? We usually seem to get our letters from our son on Wednesday and didn't receive one today - hopefully the mail will be better tomorrow. Renee from Orlando (joe's mom)

- Nancy - I live just south of GL and my daughter is at Boot Camp PIR 5/29. Give me your sons name and address and the names you want on the list. I will send a note out 1st thing in the morning and he should receive it friday or saturday. I will bring it straight to the post office and jot him a note as to why I am doing this. Let me know tonight if you want me to Nancy

s-mom said… - Hey nancy saw the comment about the driving. If you fly in and rent a car depending on where you are staying then yes alot of driving, most of it is stop go traffic. Some of the hotels offer a van to and from graduation. If you stay in Wakegan then most things are in walking distance. The hotels are pretty good about giving you the backroads to drive. But Wakegan I believe is the closest hotels to the bass-less than a mile. Tolls total cast us about $7.00.
