Can you post the link? I am headed downtown! I will try to find it real quick... The ship comes in on the North side of the Coronado bridge. It should be clear blue this morning! We are under a high pressure system with 'wind' off of the desert.

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
As a navy Mom and a Navy ex-wife I have learned that it takes maturity, self-confidence and independence to handle the job, the demands of the military lifestyle, rules and regs, separations from family, friends and all things familiar.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

So I have heard about the medical stuff. Tim did have hernia surgery last deployment on the RR and they did give him good healing time and took very good care of him so I hope this situation will be the same.

Wow! My son probably was assigned to the RR around the same time! I think he will be on the RR 2 years as of 2/10! Hard to believe. Time is flying! If you read my comment on the RR site today, he had an accident a few days ago and I am still awaiting word as to what is going to happen with him.

Yes I think we will take chairs also. We flew last year so we were not able to take chairs. But we are driving this year so we will have our car and be able to bring our chairs. Thanks goodness, lol. If we stay on Coronado, we could sleep a little later also, lol. This is our vacationa after all, LOL. Thanks for all the info!

Thanks for the advice. I am checking tripadvisor. But after you read so many they all run together, lol. How is the traffic in the area? I am wondering if it just won't be better to stay where we have stayed in the past. It is on Coronado and close to base. I am just worried about being in traffic the morning of homecoming. Last year we had no problem getting there and getting in. Will you be at homecoming?

Thank you! I am looking at Old Town Inn on Pacific Hwy. Do you know anything about the area? Last year we stayed on Coronado at Coronado Inn. It wasn't bad and was close but parking was hard to come by at times. Thanks again!
