From a military member, as of right now, all PCS orders have been placed on hold until the next fiscal year which is in October. This is probably the reason your son was placed on hold. Other reason's could include clearances and medical issues. O...

Hi,
Welcome to the site! My son PIR'd from Great Lakes June 20th, '08. He is in Groton where he graduated BESS with Distinction, finished ATT and TECHNO ahead of schedule, and is classing up tomorrow for A School for ET Nav.

His RDC at Great Lakes was RDC Canty. He really liked him. When he left Great Lakes he actually missed boot camp. He said he missed the RDCs, his rack, and his fellow bootcamp buddies. He also said he always had that cadence running through his head, whether waking up in the morning or going to bed at night.

Thank you for giving us the chance to say thank you to all of you :)

Hello & Welcome!
Looks like another RDC from GL!! We are so glad to see you all getting involved in our website. It gives us a way to personally thank you for all you for our recruits! You are truly a blessing.
My son's RDC was PO Voorhies, and Matt thinks he's the funniest guy he's ever met. What a difference you all make in a young person's life....
That Sailor son of mine PIR'd 4/25/08 and is now on a destroyer in the Gulf....serving his county proudly as an STG3!!
