You say goodbye to them as they go to bootcamp... cry ... go through so many emotions .... you had thought you had experienced them all ... and eventually they get up the nerve to tell you , well, mom we are leaving ... I will call when i get back ...the emense sense of Pride, trembles all over your body.... everyday , your mindfull in prayer... for all of our kids..
how fortunate and lucky we are to have such wonderful, dedicated sailors in our lives : ) ... and to the mom's out…

Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. - Hey--I appreciate the note. My Sailor left today :( headed for his friend's home where they'll spend the rest of their leave. He will be in Mayport next week sometime! It doesn't get easier to say goodbye, I don't guess, but I kept it together all day at work & did not whine to anyone about how much I will miss that young man. So I guess I am growing!

- Hi-this is a tough day for us since they shot down those SEALS in Afghan, but I am thankful to say that my Sailor is finished with A school & he & another Sailor will be flying in Tuesday night. so I get a visit of maybe a week. He was in GL in A school for Damage Control. We are very happy with his ass't to Mayport because it may mean he can spend some holidays with us if he has leave. Also when the Hue City gets deployed we can meet her when she returns. A trip from Ala. to NE Fla. is much easier than driving to Chicago!
