Join Lousiana moms. Click here If you wait for a graduation packet, there will be hotel discounts for graduation. Also, if someone sprains an ankle and graduation gets delayed a week, it is hard to change plan tickets.

Some of the recruits were told different dates I think. It was probably when they were building the divisions and PIR dates. They have them straight now. =)

Hey, the graduation for division 278 is indeed 8/14, not 8/7. I would encourage you to look up 'Sue J/Purple Pig'. She is on my friends list. She will be able to help you confirm that date. She is one of the ones that works at the Navy Boot Camp HQ and posts the dates for the divisions. She has confirmed they are correct for our PIR group.

I'm glad you found me! Please feel free to join our PIR group. We are very active. There are tons of supportive women in our group. We currently have 10 women in our group from that division! It'll be great to have you on there with us. =) http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir81409div278285839939/forum/topics/updated-member-list-7309

Hi & welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. What will your son be doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your recruit. Pat
