Lindsey, A forclosure can certainly effect his enlistment for seal, these guys needs to be able to get a top secret or higher clearence, any negative credit can effect his ability to get such a clearence, which would render him inelligable, SELL

Barb, Thanks for the comments, what I would do is tell the RINC of the station, let him know how you feel and what happened, I am sure he will fix the issue, If not talk to the zone sup. Lindsey, Febuary is actually very good, Most the kids I put...

I need some help with a problem my depper has. She goes for her 30 day this week and something has come up healthwise. Because she is on her 3 recruiter since she signed up in March she doesn't have a very good repore with anyone in the office. Is there a number I can call you at because of the personal nature of the discussion and the length of the problem I was hoping to talk verbally to someone. I would really appreciate your help, because at this point my daughter is frightened that it will keep her from going to BC at the end of September. JackieM

Thanks for the info on sta-21, I guess I did no realize my son was aware of this. He is planning to do one more semester at college this fall and keep his BC date of 1/7/10. He changed his courses from pre-pharmacy to Engineering.

Hi! Thank you for being available to answer questions. My daughter just started the process; she only wants to go in as an HM; her ASVAB and MEPS is scheduled in Aug; she has 1 week to lose 6 lbs. now is it my understanding that at MEPS is when she signs up for DEP? and at that point they will be able to give her a date for BC? we live in NJ. Any insight about the HM field being a very long wait for women? a million thanks! and we like her new recruiter!

My son is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln out of Bremerton, WA. He would like to find a singing group or a chorus he could join up with as a sailor. A 'ship' singing group, a Protestant church or a city local group. He sang in a select choir before the service and wondered how he could get in touch with a group or try out for the Navy Chorus? I am not sure either! Any ideas?
Thank you so much.

Hi, Thank you for being available to answer questions. My son has a ship date in march and wants to go in earlier. He says his only option is to wait for a call from his recruiter to say there is a spot and then be ready to go. Is there anything he can do to get in earlier? Thank you

Well my daughter went to Meps and is now in the DEP. They had her do her contract on her second choice on Monday and was told she could do another contract after she took the DLAB for CTI which was her first choice. She took the DLAB and scored a 99! Needless to say she was very disappointed. Her recruiter told her she could take the DLAB again in 6 months and still do another contract. Is this correct? I feel she is being rushed to do things. Is this normal? Sorry for sounding...... I am just worried that she is being rushed. Thanks

My son signed papers about a month ago. He will be leaving 1/7/10 for Boot Camp. He got a 98 on the ASVAB test and will go in the NUke Porgram. He completed 1 year of college and will take classes again this fall. Is it possible for him to actually finish college through an NROTC program and then go in?
