I think Chris and my son have crossed paths in Buds.Somewhere in Class 274-277. Mine is heading to corpmen training after some unknown to me incedent at the end of land phase. He wasn't to happy but claims he will return to the course in the future??? Unfortunately he is back to Great Lakes for another winter.(I find it kinda funny) I wish Chris the best he find a New calling before long.

So glad your daughter is ok. That happened to my son, he came home on leave in April 08, bought a car. He and my husband drove it back to Goose Creek, SC. 3 days after he made the 1st payment, a DUI driver rearended him, pushed him into another DUI driver and 2 other cars. The air bags deployed so fast that he had 2nd degree burns on his wrist which is scarred. The guy was trying to blame it on him, but there were alot of witnesses.

My son has made it to Pensacola, he says it is boring and could be up to two months before they "class up" Where is Chris? He said there were a lot of 276 guys there and they try to move the BUDS guys along. My son was able to come home between San Diego and Pensacola, but was a very tragic time. He arrived home on a Wed, went skateboarding on Thurs with his best friend who fell and hit his head, his friend died on Friday and we buried him on Sunday then Ryan left for Pensacola on Monday. I am so worried about him. To see his buddy die like that was horrible and I don't think he has any support in Pensacola. I asked him to ask around the base for help but he won't. Any suggestions?
