Come down off the ledge please. Jess can't go through PIR without Momma! Your letter is coming. You know typically today would be the first time they get to write. Your letter is coming. my daughter asked me to send her some stamps and envelopes as well when I sent her next letter. Besidesw, I only have a few other Moms on here that are on my friends list. I NEED you! I can't wait to read your first letter post. I know thay Tori told me, there are some who did not write because they didn't want to sound bummed to their parents. She said they all say they knew for sure this was the right choice, but it doesn't stop them from being homesick. Give her some time. Things will fall right into place.

Hey there...It's me Roni..(Navymomroni), Thanks for the friend invite. And for letting me know about your similar challenge. I've learned lots of ways to get around him, to get the info I need on my kids. I'm here for you anytime. =-). I'm gonna give it a few more days to see if Justin decided to send the box and letter to my house..Hmmmm that would be HUGE for me!! Then I'll ask his dad...and the recruiter if I have too. Take care, Stay strong!! I'll be in touch.

That must have been tough to see Jess and Erica at the airport. I'm glad you 2 have each other to lean on. Speaking of the site, I am learning things everyday. Today I learned there were like a gagilion more groups than I previously thought. I found a group that is even making stockings, scarves, and pillowcases for military members. I wonder if there is a group for siblings to go onto for support. Steven I'm sure would not believe it if someone told him I was on here writing because I am old school and basically despise computers. By the way, I love you handle--it's original!

:)I had to aaahh when I read about you starting to text your Jess. I wrote Steven last night and told him I expect to see him in the room with me. I find myself constantly looking at his spot on the couch and thinking I wonder when he'll be home, like he's just out for the night. My mantra has been: I wonder what he is doing. I should have ripped that schedule out of his Dep book. My other little glitch now is when I answer the phone I say, "You're not Steven." Thankfully everyone has just laughed and not been offended. How is your 16 year old doing with her sister being gone?
