Hi Noe - Thanks for friending me! My son has been in the Navy since Dec.'08. After graduation he did A-School in Great Lakes until May '09 and has been stationed at the Naval hospital in San Diego as a corpsman up until May 1st last week. He is now on the USNS Mercy for the next 6 months. They are headed out to see the world on a philanthropic mission. I couldn't be prouder of him!

I have been through a few tragedies myself. I assume you still have young kids at home? I recalled you mentioning something when mittengirl (Nancy) wrote in about her nephew. Well, you take care. Somehow we muddle through - somedays better than others.

I wish I knew what language Mark will learn. The girlfriend said that it is "some weird middle east language!" Hopefully we will be able to talk to our son soon and find out for sure what language it is. I will let you know when I hear something.

I try to be even handed but Northern Calif is a huge area. I know it took Paula a lot of effort to post her comment and she did it out of love for the group and wrote from her heart. Everyone's needs are important. I thought it was pretty clever and I am giving myself a pat on the back. I will post the event for you. Is there anything I can to help you.
