My daughter entered bootcamp on Oct. 28.
Hi! It took me about 5 days to receive the box. I cried! We are almost 4 weeks in now and it is getting easier. Just stay strong. I'm sure he'll be great.

Hi Tess! Thank you so much for the encouragement. It really does mean alot. No letters today either. Hopefully tommorrow. I'm patiently waiting. ( sort of)

I got my daughters welcome letter yesterday! She couldnt write much at the bottom but sounded good - homesick, but good! I now feel better :-)
Hi, my daughter is also ship 03, div 040. Her name is Leanna, maybe they know each other??? Same in my form letter from Leanna. For such a few lines, she seemed really ok. Made me feel so much better.. Cant wait till 12/30/09!!!!
Julie, Pam & Tabitha are right. The letter(s) should start coming soon. Your daughter's in good hands. It's going to be ok, and remember, you've always got us to lean on.
I got 2 letters in one envelope today! It's the best thing to open and see the handwriting! And of course to find out how they're doing = ) like she said, it'll come! Hang tight and TRY not to worry

- Hi, tried leaving you note earlier, but don't know what happened to it.. Anyways, yes. I did get note from Leanna too. Was so good to hear from her, and everything seems to be going fine, except for being sore from head to toe.. They really are getting a great workout. Counting the days till PIR . Its gonna be such an event.. Fingers crossed for more good mail and hopefully a phone call.. felicia

Shayna's Mom said… - Hi Pam, my daughter Shayna also arrived at Boot Camp on Oct. 28th. She is on ship 3 USS Hopper as well! Sounds like we will have a lot in common. I received her box but still no form letter. I'm about 99% sure we are graduating on Dec. 30th. I joined the group PIR date of 12-30-09...I think that's what it's called. You should join. You can talk to the ladies you will see if you go to the graduation. I think they are planning a meet N greet, Good Luck, Shannon
