My son works with the Chaplain in the Religious Ministries Dept, they have 11 total in their dept. I can take care of them but would also be willing to help with any others.

HELP BRING HOLIDAY CHEER TO THE USS NIMITZ CVN-68 CSG 2009
Temporary group to coordinate our efforts to bring Holiday Cheer to the crew of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group. Ships included in the CSG are: USS Nimitz including 8 air wings, USS Sampson, USS CHOSIN, USS Pinckney, & the USS Rentz.

It is Shari Michael's mom from Muskogee. I was wondering if you
good have Shaun check on Michael and his status in medical. They
have had him in isolation for 3 days and he should be out. I just
need to know he is getting better. Don't have to have a phone

Patti, It is Sunday night and one of the sailors has been hurt on
the Nimitz he fell of one of the jets. Is it possible to drop your
son a line and see if he could check on him. And maybe it will bring

I know there is probably a way to tell who has the 96601 zip and who has the 96620 zip.....but I'm to clueless to figure it out. I just figure the cards will get to them on time if I have the full zipcode correct. Thanks

Hi Patti, life is going to get nuts here in a couple of weeks. Our host son is coming to visit for a month and then school starts. 1st thing 1st...making an address list that I can check off for Christmas cards. I'm trying to get the list complete so I can at least start the Christmas cards before the house becomes a zoo! I know it is early...but...if I don't do this now I know I will be so busy I will forget! I Have Shaun's address, but I don't have his zip code. Thanks, Jane

Sorry for just getting back alot of stuff going on and it is not fun stuff. Yes both of my sons joined the Navy together but Ty was
discharged after A school for a perfurated ear drum. Michael is on the
ship and he tells me that your son if he is correct works with the
chaplin. Also he said that he is Kelly's cousin and he dated Kelly in high school. So am I right? And by the way where did our site go.
I signed in tonight and it told me this site does not exsist. I wonder what is going on? Sincerely , Sam

Thank you Patti. I am sure my son will know your son. My son is
so outgoing he could make a tree talk to him. I am disabled in a
wheelchair and pretty much homebound. I have MS and a couple of
others if that is not enough. It is just so nice to know that there is
someone here and someone who believes in the power of prayer.
I could not make it thru each day without it. Right now life has
thrown me a couple of curve balls and I am in a really bad spot.
But I am praying and given to God and trust in him he will show me
the way. Do you know of any others in town that are on the Nimitz? Michael went in the Navy in 2006 right out of high school
and my other son too. It was one of the worst days of my life too.
Thank you so much for letting me in. And if I can will you put me
on your prayer list to make it thru these things going on I need all
the help I can get. Sincerely, Sam
