About me:
Mother of 3 great people - Katy, 24 - Ashley, 20- and Trey, 18. Ashley is my sailor, and she will turn 21 next April. She was in Ship 06/Division 917 at bootcamp, graduating March, 2009, and is currently studying Cryptology in Pensacola, FL. I'm a homemaker and caretaker of my Mom, Mary, who has multiple sclerosis and is a double-amputee. She lives independently and I help keep her that way! My hubby Spike and I will have been married for 25 years, and we live on a farm just outside of Kansas City. We grow raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and other fruits at our small farm, which is a 'pick-your-own' farm. We enjoy riding our Victory motorcycles, playing volleyball, softball, our farm and most importantly, our family.

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Ashley's Navy career is hers and hers alone. As her parent, I proudly step back and watch her learn to fly. So far, the Navy realizes what a jewel they have found in my daughter, and I hope that she continues to shine in their care.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Patty, yes I am Patricia too but have always gone by Patty. I have 3 kids- Ashley is my oldest- 22 next month, Justin is my middle-19 and the sailor,and Brittany my youngest-18.
