- About me:
- I am a 27 yo mom with 5 wonderful kids & a great husband. My oldest three kids are from hubbies 1st marriage but I have raised them full time as mom for almost 10 yrs now, so they are just as much mine as our youngest two. I have had my own business for almost a year now, so I stay pretty busy between work & the family. My oldest just left for boot camp on 9/22 & I couldn't be more proud of him! I miss him SO bad, but we are closer now because of it and the more I learn on here, the prouder I get. I just got his address. He is in Div 390 Ship 14. I can't wait to meet others from this division.

- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Thank you. I tear up everytime it gets to the liberty call!!! I'll post just the "Liberty call" video for you if you want. I just cut a piece out of it for the photoshow. I have to do some work around here though LOL, so I'll post it later on.
The picture quality stinks on there! But at least its on there. It looks SO good watching it on the TV!

Sharon - it doesn't allow you to upload anything online that uses your own music, but it burns to dvd with your music. It let me "export" it though AND change the format!!! About 2 mins to go & I'll know if it worked.
Sharon, Im exporting it now in a different format so I can upload it to you tube. Im still disappointed though.I had it to where "God Bless the USA" fit perfect to the pictures & the videos. Their choices of songs aren't very good & the music just...

My sailor will start Power School on Monday. We live only 4 hrs. away but we don't know if he will be able to be home. We missed him last thanksgiving too because he was in Great Lakes. If he can't come don't feel too bad. My gave them good meal, socialized with sailors, and watch football game. Its going to be hard for him to travel since he just start A School. My sailor did not get chance to came July 4. Also, he cannot travel for more than 400 miles for the 4 weeks of A School I believe. If plan to visit GC please let me know. We live outside Asheville, NC, It will be nice to take a break and visit. Good luck to you and your sailor. Tell him just to study hard and he is going to just fine.

We got in around 6:30 Thursday evening, ran by the Ramada around 7:15. Met a few of the moms, sorry I didn't run into you. When we got to the base Friday morning we sat in the upper level in front of 390. When the doors opened the tears started. I couldn't wait to see our sailors and they looked sharp.
John called me Tuesday afternoon to let me know they made it through Battle Stations. I asked him about your son and he said he was across the hall talking to you on a phone call. It is good to know you did get a phone call.
We had a great weekend spending it with John. It seemed we walked all over Chicago, Navy Pier, finding a pizza restaurant, etc. We rode the same bus line 3 different times on Saturday. The last trip on the city bus the driver told us no charge for military. The other drivers never said a word about that. It was hard to say goodbye last night I was missing him before we were off base. It was a great weekend. Hope you had a great weekend too.
