- About me:
- I am a single Mom, like many, but am extremely proud of who my son has become. I miss him greatly, because we always spoke to each other every day. I had hard times when his Dad and I broke up. In fact, it was a tough last 2 years for us before he went into the Navy. I have been there through the thick and thin for him. Now my son hardly e-mails me but finds time to e-mail the world around me. How do I deal with this. He is stationed in Atsugi, Japan aboard the George Washington. Please direct me on how to handle this stage of ignoring me????

- Was concerned or afraid
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- My son has grown into a strong, proud Man. He has gained experiences in his life that he might never have experienced while here at home, and for this I am proud to say my son is in the Navy!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz.. What is your son doing with the Navy?
