About me:
I'm a proud mom of beautiful daughter, Sylvia, 17,and 18 year old son TJ. My son is now in P-Cola starting his A-School in IT. I just got back from his PIR in GL. WOW! My husband, Jose, is also interested in joining the Navy. I am a new grandma, thanks to TJ and his pretty girlfriend, Maria. I work full-time in accounting. I was going to the Gym for Zumba and Kickboxing 6 days a week; that was before baby, Janae. I need to work on my time management now! Fortunately, I get to talk to my Sailor son often. I am so thankful for this NFM site. There's so many great people here with lots of excellent information and support!

Shoot! They grow up! Next thing you know, you'll be watching your granddaughter hip-hop--or whatever it is they will do! We had a great time at Gammage yesterday. The students were in awe! I had 2 students in my car that had never been out of Tucson before! We are headed up to PHX to pick up Dan today. He spent the weekend with friends up there. (Ugh, another trip to Phx!)

Hey Rhoda,
I wish I could go next week, but I am taking some of our 5th graders up to see Phantom of the Opera. We had someone donate tickets and are thrilled to be able to expose our students to something other than where they live. I don't know yet when Dan will be home. When I spoke with him the other day, he said he may wait until later to come home, depending on the price of the ticket to get here. He'll find out more soon. GRRRR...

I am so glad TJ got to spend some time with loved ones...I know they are both hoping to find out where they go next soon. AND, definitely, I hope they keep in touch. Dan's a good kid (man) He told me awhile ago that TJ was coming to town and that he was taking his watch. BUT, I didn't know it was a surprise! How wonderful! How priceless!

Hi Rhonda:
It was nice meeting you too and TJ. PIR was awesome and so was the whole weekend, seeing all the proud moms, dads, girlfriends and wives. I'm sitting at home feeling a little down, the weekend went soooo fast. I am already missing Trent. I wish TJ the best of luck, please keep in touch.

We are going to try to make it to Flannagan's. My husband is not sure what time he will get out of work tomorrow. I am working half day, til about 12:30. We think we will have about a 5 1/2 hour drive to Great Lakes, but we have to stop on the in Columbus, IN and in Indianapolis, IN to pick up my Mom and my Mother-in-law. I have Natalie's cell phone # (Bradlee's Mom) and told her I would call her with updates along the way. I hope to get there before everyone leaves. Travel safely! Paula
