Im not a navy mom but I am a navy girlfriend. My boyfriend is in Washington and is in the navy for 6 years. Im goin to school for business management and will hopefully be movin out to washington in a year or two.

Yeah I cried a little bit. Cory will be going to Norfolk in a few weeks...I'll probably be moving out there around the end of the year. I wish it could be sooner but almost as soon as he gets to his station he'll be going out on deployment and I still have a few months left of school.

Justin wants to be based in WA bc he has family that lives less than 30 min from the base he would be at. And they said they can probably give him a room for awhile so he could save up a lot of money!

Hey yeah, it was really hard. I was with his mom and sister too and I know if I started crying they all would. He went back to A school at great lakes. But in a few weeks he'll be moving to Norfolk. Hopefully he will be able to come home for a few days before he does that...but we won't know for another week or two. So where's your guy at?

It was really hard for me at first but we have been together for 7 yrs and I know Jeff would never do anything like that to me. I am from NC but we are stationed in Quantico VA.

SAR is Search and Rescue. And a Corpsman is a medical person. My husband has worked his way up to provider so he can see patients now. The junior Corpsmen do basic nurse jobs, like checking patients in and doing vital signs. He is almost done with his college so he can be a Physican's Asst.

Hi Rhonda, got your note and be happy to help in anyway that I can. He is in Oak Harbor for C school? What state is that in Rhonda? If he is in C school there he must be an ET as the FCs C schools are only located in California and Virginia and I don't recognize the Oak Harbor name so I'm guessing he must be an ET. How long has he been in the Navy now? Does he have orders for his ship yet? Alot of the ETs will get their ship orders with their C school orders - please let me know and I'll see what I can find out for you.

His A school is in Groton, CT. He's going to be an STS. If Justin gets stationed there he will be right outside of Seattle. He's in for another 5 years from when he graduates, but he's looking at doing career so about 20!
