Mother of 3 - daughter 25 just finished law school, took the CA Bar Exam and is waiting on results; daughter 23 graduated in May majored in Theatre currently interning at Disney in Orlando and sailor son who is 20 stationed in Hawaii.

Rosemary, I am planning on heading to Waco about 7:00 on Saturday morning. I am going up Hwy 105. Do you want to come with us?
We are meeting some other moms at Market Basket about 7:15 to 7:30.

aw - We met at the Olive Garden - right there in Beaumont!!! So sorry we did not connect with you earlier!!
We had 11 attend!! We had four moms (one boot camp, one still in C school, one already completed one deployment, and one who lost her son), one wife and their baby, two dads, one SAILOR, and my two sisters.
We had a GREAT time!!!
Busy today getting ready - my Sailor is coming home tonight!!! I'll post pictures later!!!

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Justin also has always wanted to be in the Military but for the longest time we thought he would go ARMY. To our surprise he did his research and decided on the NAVY. I was so proud of his decision to join and his reasons for choosing the NAVY. I hope the next year brings out the best in him as it did in your son.

Hi Rosemary, wow Hawaii is wonderful. I hope you get to visit :) This past year must of brought many changes to your sailors life. How would you say he has changed the most? My son is turning 18 tomorrow so I am thinking that I will be sending my boy and the Navy will be returning a man.

Haltom city is right outside of Ft.worth.The metroplex.We have N.richland hills,richland hills,watauga and Haltom city.We're about 10 minutes from downtown but far enough away for some peace and quiet.Have a great week

glad everyone is ok. I went to Galveston the weekend after Dolly.we had a great weekend lots of fun and sun.Then 2 weeks later eduardo hit.So we were lucky .

We are going to Beaumont next week. Its 2 hours from my house, I'm up above Woodville right on 69. I don't remember you from the Tx get together, were you not able to make it? I do remember you were undecided. We had a lovely time and there were many nice parents and even sisters and cousins there!
