What is ROPC?
Maybe they will be together in MS. Meaghan will be one of the following: yn, az, sk or ps. She was supposed to go in Nov, but wanted in early. They got her in in July, but she went in as admin support. they will put her in one of the four jobs. She is so funny. She said some of the girls don't know when to shut up, can't do a sit up, etc. She keeps to herself to stay out of the drama. she dealt with the same in high school color guard. How old is your daughter? mine is 19.

My daughter is also in 357. What job will your daughter do in the navy? Mine will be YN. Her name is Meaghan. Hope we can chat and compare notes!

Yes, My kid and her friends hoged the computer, but not to worry, since her departure, I've learned to download photo's and use the DVD player, and she thought I was helpless! The Supply job can mean just about anything, but essentially, it's inventory control, purchasing, warehouse activities, which transfers to the real world when she decides to leave the Navy. At this point, she's thinking of a career in the Navy.

Hi Everyone, I was happy to find this site. My daughter has been in the Navy Sea Cadet program for 7 years and has been planning to join the real Navy for as long as I can remember. I am very proud of her taking this next step. While in Sea Cadet's she attended various trainings, and one year she was gone throught out the summer. I am happy to say, I \since starting Boot Camp, I've received 2 letters, which is more than I received when she was gone for a full summer. Her letters indicate she is doing well. From Great Lakes she will travel to Mississippi and attend Supply "A" School. She hope to go into the medical program, but at the time of her signing there was an 18 month waiting list for females. With any luck, one day she will transfer over. She is scheduled to graduate at the end of September/ I've been scouting air fair, hotels, etc, and am waiting just waiting for the date to be confirmed befor making reservations. Can't Wait to see her!
