that's wild! my oldest, matt is on the USS Halsey in San Diego, he loves it out there. Justin is going specail forces, he was to be EOD so he can blow things up underwater! He was ROTC and a Sea Cadet all through High School so he is well prepared for ROTC in college.

Hi Sara,

I noticed your post about traveling to Norfolk, VA wanted to say hello. My daughter is also stationed in Norfolk, and she is out on deployment now. Have a great time visiting, the area seems very nice. Blessings, Sherry

Hi Sara-

Thank you for replying back to me. I'm going to copy and paste your note over in the NROTC group so other mom's can see it and respond directly to you if they have questions.

I know you said you are still new with the computer (we all had to start there so we can all sympathize) but if you look across the top of your screen above where your name is you should see "tabs" they sort of look like file labels.
The first one is MAIN, then INVITE, then MY PAGE. On over there is one that says groups- if you click on that one it will bring up a screen with a listing on groups and the NROTC group should be listed right on the page you see. Just click on the big blue and yellow circle and it will open another screen that will open the group for you.

Then you will be actually reading the group page. From there you can "join the group" and read everyone else's messages.

I just thought I would give it a try to see if you may want to attempt to join. If not- that's ok too :)

Thanks again- and let's keep in touch.- Paulette
