- Hey I'm Shanika and I'm 23years old... I'm new to being a Navy Wife.. My husband went off to boot camp in Nov && he is now being stationed in Widbey Island Washington in the 135 Black Raven squadron and his occupation will be a culinary specialist ... I also work fulltime and I have a second job for the weekend... I'm a very busy young lady...&& We have a little girl Malaya due in July on the way and I'm just looking forward to this new life with my Husband & Daugther... I know exactly how you feel not having gotten any letters yet, but keep writing...in case he is receiving your letters. Remember, no news is good news. I was so lost yesterday for Thanksgiving without my baby girl at home. I burned a blue candle for much of the day & told everyone that is was her spirit here with us...it helped a little.

Yes Nika89xo, my daughter's PIR is the same date as your boyfriend's.
Can't wait to get that first letter from her! I mailed mine to her yesterday & her dad is mailing one today.
