Sharon, the Keel was mailed to our house. I thought Devin paid for it when he bought his pictures during bootcamp. We got it sometime ago.
How was your time with Travis? I loved looking at the pictures on Facebook. I can't wait to have Devin back home at Christmas time.
Have a great week and we will keep in touch. I will look at my receipt to see if there is a ph# or address that you can call for the book.

Sharon, great to hear from you. Devin is doing great. He completed ATT school yesterday and will probably be on hold for 1-2 months before he starts actual A school for GM atleast that is what I have heard. We are so very proud of him and all the sailors.....I am sure you are the same way. I loved looking at the Keel Yearbook that Dev got. Amazing...those boys fold their clothes on the floor....very clean. Devin has expressed a interest in the Riverines....which would require additional training on the east coast at Norfolk. I am not so sure I want him to do this as it would be more dangerous than I would like....but he is excited about the job. There are a few videos on youtube that we have watched regarding Riverines and it looks a little crazy.

I am on facebook and will look for you. I just asked Dev yesterday if he sees Travis and he said not very often because they are in different ships. I am glad he is doing well. We will be traveling to GL over Labor Day to spend the weekend with Devin. He will be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas both. Probably should be done with A school in either Dec or Jan depending on his "hold" time. Crazy Navy.
You take care and I will look for you on facebook and you look for me. My last name might be easier for you to find....not to many of us out there.
Great to hear from you

Hi Sharon, good to hear from you. We are all good. Dev is loving Chicago. He spends lots of time in downtown Chicago. Devin has started SCC and once done with that will start ATT then on to A school. There sure seems to be a lot of waiting time in the Navy but Devin is getting off the base and exploring the city and I am glad for that. One of his friends from Fargo will be driving to see him in a couple of weeks and they will go to a baseball game and to Six Flags. We are thinking about going to see him over Labor day but will see as that time gets closer. Dev watched the 4th fireworks off the Navy Pier downtown on someones boat and said it was great. What a experience for him.

Have a great evening and we will talk later.

Sharon, we haven't spoken in a while. How is everything with you? We are all good but I am lonely for my son. Our other son Dustin left for Spain on
6-22 for 12 days...I don't like the empty-nest syndrome. We are planning on going to see Devin for Labor Day....I can't wait. Devin is on hold and might be there for a month or so. I sure hope he will be patient...not always his best quality....haha.
Have a great evening, I will check back with you later.

Sharon, How are you? It was great meeting you and Travis. You were what I was expecting....bubbly and funny. It was sure nice having our boys for the weekend. I was very surprised when Devin finally met us at the USO and said he didn't need to be back until Sunday evening. He and his brother were messing around(wrestling) as usual and that was good go see. We got some paper work done and Devin even said he has started a retirement acct w/the Navy.....what have they done with my son. He is becoming a man. Crazy how they change in 8 weeks. Please lets keep in touch. Have a nice week and we will talk again soon.
