My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

Your words to Maggie were right on target and brought back all the memories of BC for my son. I think the box was IT for me too. I went to my room and cried and held his clothes to my face to smell his after shave....and I wore his Nike braclet that reads Confidence the whole 8 weeks every day and night. I still wear it now....it seem to bring him closer. K is on the USS Abe Lincoln which is stationed out in your neck of the woods.....I was out there in March to say Goodbye before they left on deployment. it is his first deployment. I hope to be there when they return in the fall. My youngest daughter wants to join the Navy too. I don'twant to lose her too, but I know she needs to do what she needs to do to grow up and become an independent young woman. I'm so proud of all my children for the decisions they have made. I just wish I could talk to K more often or he would email more , but he is a typical 20 yr old guy....busy with his life and life on a ship is hectic. Take care.....:) Andrea
