Profile Information

About me:
I am very outgoing, love my dog and cat, my family, love to swim, play clarinet, and talk with friends. I have always been very close with my son until now. I guess he has finally grown up and matured without me- lol. I am really lost without his smile, laughter, goofy little quirks, and most of all his personality. I am very impatient, and the waiting around is really not good. I love Navy 4 Moms, and I dont know what I'd do without it, or the friends I've made on it! But most of all I love and miss my Sailor!

It wasn't about my needs and selfishness, it was about HIM being proud of himself and starting to fulfill HIS dreams and future.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Any Florida Navy Moms leaving for GL - Graduation 01/30/09

I am leaving on the 29th to the Great Lakes. My boy is graduating. He is in division 82. It would be nice if anyone else was going from here / or anywhere else from the U.S.. My family is going but there is nothing like a moms love, and the way we feel is much different than men, and our children.

Thanks so much for your sweet words of advice. It means a lot to me. Tonight Bryce's fiance came over to talk about how they can work in a quick wedding before he leaves for Mayport. They'll only have a few short weeks together before he is deployed, but she wants to be married and go with him to Florida anyway. It is getting awfully complicated, considering we don't even know whether he will get to come home first! Arrrrrgh!

Hi Sherry, Just thought I'd let you know that my son isn't even finished with QM School, and he got his orders today. He's worried sick about finishing up before he is to report! He might not even be able to get home after school! And, he is already set to deploy for 8 months in November. Things are happening fast for us!

I'm so sorry for the delay in responding to your comment on my page. My life is pretty hectic these days, as my husband is ill. Sigh ...

I wanted to thank you for the information on the possibility that Bryce might be on hold for awhile when he graduates from QM school. It is always good to be aware of such things so we won't expect too much, too soon. We are very grateful to you for the information!

It sounds as though your son is doing very well, and I am happy for you! That's wonderful to hear. :))
