Victoria - congrats on the new job. I knew what was going on with JJ a while ago, but I wouldn't say anything in deference to you and your privacy. Mike and JJ were friends on the ship, and Mike was sad to see him go. I hope that everything works ou…

Thanx. It's a tough time right now. It's hard to be away when you want to be home. He went through it last year when my Mom was dying, and he wanted to be by her side.

Valerie, you are very understanding to accept your DIL's refusal to let you be there. I don't know if I would be so understanding! Ordering t-shirts, huh? I ordered t-shirts, so I may have met her. If that was her, she was very nice, but I still wou…

Siobhan I was looking through your pictures and on picture that is 079, I noticed that my son, Matt, is standing on the left side of the picture. I remember that time because we were getting off the ship so we could take Matt somewhere for a good meal and wings. Go figure at deployment and these guys want wings? Take care and I hope things are getting better for you and your family. Reading on the VG website it surely sounds like you have been going through some really rough times. Keep the chin up and keep trudging don't ever let it get you down.

So good to hear from you. I was wanting to get to know some of you that have kids in that area. News from the Bainbridge is that they are doing good. We are so glad that ordeal is over. Just reading your profile- sounds like you have your hands full. I also have twins that are going to Marine boot camp in June. I know how it is to be a single mom, too. I have only been remarried for about 2 years. Just keep your chin up! Let me hear from you when you get a chance.

Hey Siobhan, Just wanted to say Hi and welcome you to Vella's page. We just got home from VA today.
We stopped by the grandparents so Matt could give his hugs and headed home today. He was glad to get home and take a little R&R and time with family and friends. It is just nice to have him home and just talk. This homecoming was our 2nd one and they are all so very special. Take care and talk to ya soon.

Hello Siobhan, Thanks for responding. It took me awhile to get back online; I work and go to school (finishing my BA) as well as raise kids. But, Oh Life is Good! Hope you are well! Wow two of your kids in service at once, and still a few at home. I'll be thinking of you, Take care, Renee

We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Hello, I just jumped online to visit this site; I joined NAVY for MOMS kind of recently, too. I welcome you, and wanted to ask; have you ever lived in Minnesota? Your name is unique and I knew someone with your name. Anyway, take care and God bless you with all those kids! (I am single mom to four...) Renee
