About me:
I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls and a grandmother . My daughter Asucion is the second born and she is the one who has joined the navy. When my girls were little I tried to join and the chief told me "I had an army of my own"..LOL!! Ive been the type of mom who allows her children to make sound decisions for themselves (sometimes that can be a mistake) but this was one good decision I knew my daughter had made. God PLEASE look over my daughter!!!!
I am here to support or represent my:

WHY I AM BLESSED!

1st time blogging so bear with me.
Before I actually became a member on this site, I used to see the advertisement on TV and thought just another ad for the military to get our children to join. However once my daughter Susy went to boot camp it seem like the ads were popping up on every show that I was watching…lol, as if something was telling me to go to the site and just see what it has to offer. Well to my surprise, I found a community of women who are caring, thoughtful, very supportive and… Continue

I made CDs for all my N4Ms friends, but since you weren't at dinner, I couldn't get it to you. PM me with your address and I'll get it in the mail!
BTW, Jamie and Nick (Nicole's son) were complaining about some of the "females" in their division but said Susy was "cool."

Congratulations Sonia --- Did you just cry constantly at PIR? I know I did. It was a sight to behold seeing them all march in like they did. You'll have to let me know how it went. Where will your daughter be going/doing now? My son, Alex, has arrived in Goose Creek, SC. He is attending A-School there for their nuke program. He will be there for 9 months and then headed to Ballston Spa for six months of trajectory training. I can't wait for that, because I will be able to see him when he gets liberty. Welcome home. Talk to you soon.

Hi Sonia -- I can't believe we've both been going thru BC for the last five weeks and the other one didn't know it --- tooo funny. You will love PIR - it was such a terrific experience. Tissues are a must and wear comfy shoes, cause your gonna have to do some walking. Also, you have to sit on bleachers, and they are tough to nagivate in heels... Ceremony lasts about 2 hours and then you get to leave with your sailor. Don't rush to your car, cause there will be a traffic jam trying to get off the base. If you are renting a car -- a word of advice -- Get GPS for the rental car -- it was my lifesaver while I was there - I would have been so lost without it. I Hope you have a great time - take lots of pictures....
