Hi Stevie! I haven't been on N4M in a while. I just looked at your wedding pictures..........WOW! Gorgeous! What beach was it on? I see that you are moving in Dec; we are planning to visit HI in January! Who knows, maybe we can meet!

Kerry is almost as excited as we are about the trip. Things seem to be going well for Kerry at the moment. I hope Josh is doing well also.

I talked to Kerry again a few minutes ago. He needs Josh's last name. He has asked a couple of guys if they know of a Josh who is engaged to be married and so far no one knows him! Anyway, glad you spoke to him!

Was Josh just home on leave last month? My son came home the 1st of May and said he was on the same plane to LA as a Josh who is a MM on his boat. Was that your Josh?

My son has had a few run ins also, but that is to be expected. You can't pick your co workers and sometimes just have to learn to work with them. My son has learned a lot of life lessons since he has been in the Navy; all for the better! Have to go cook dinner; talk to you soon.

He is a Navigation Electronics Tech. He has been in for a little over 2.5 years and has been in Hawaii for 19 months. He was home last month for the 1st time since going to Hawaii. With the limited number of sailors on the sub, they probably know each other at least by last name.

My son has been in the Navy over a year but run into some snags. Things are going better for him now but it hasn't been easy being away from him.

Stevie, good to hear from you. I know it is hard being a Navy mom. I can't imagine what it is like to be a Navy girlfriend of a submariner. I have encouraged my son time and time again to not worry about having a girlfriend (as he didn't have one when he left). I keep telling him to get his schooling done and do some travelling before he concentrates on a girl. So I give you alot of credit for sticking this out. It can't be easy at all. I am right here in Omaha too, so if you want to get together sometime, let me know.
