- Married in 1981, 2 sons. Oldest son enlisted in 2003 at age 18. Submarine Service, Navigator, Electrician, Electronics Tech, among other rates. Presently stationed on the West Coast. Youngest son works as an helicopter mechanic at Sikorsky Aircraft.

- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Ask a lot of question of the recuiter. Do Not assume anything. You'll regret it. Ask about signing bonuses. Get it in writing.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

- Thank you very much for the comments about AJ. He is stationed in Bremerton WA. Your son is handsome too. He will be in the Navy 2 yrs in July. When he left he was 17, and now he will be 20 in Aug. His wife will be 21 in June.
