Hi, he said the same. We are already planning to go to florida when he gets sent. I don;t know what ship he'll be on yet. After seeing him its been a little easier on all of us. They look so good and stand so tall. Talk with you soon Susie

Hi, yeah it sure was a great time and so good to see Braden, He is still in Chicago for another six months. I talked with him yesterday for a long time and he said he is on the USS Cole, barracks, and that they couldn't leave the base this weekend because of the drug OD and death of a A school sailor last weekend. Very sad, but they were hanging out at the base and having fun. Have you spoken with Oscar?

Susie, It was so great to get to meet you at church on Sunday. Oscar is a handsome man, and Braden told me that he and Oscar were talking about being part Hispanic and half blonde Moms! They thought it was funny, but I hope you and your family had a great time, good looking boys you have!

Susie,
How are things going for you and yours? What are you hearing from Oscar in regards to the PIR? I actually got a call from Anthony yesterday on the 4th and that made my day, but not many letters, he may be writing to other people also. Will we see you on the 18th?

HI Susie,
Michael sounds good from his letters, but I have yet to get a call from him. I know the first call (I think June 11) he got three minutes and he called his girlfriend :-(( Not mom.. so I am a little concerned I didn't hear from him today..... I write him almostevery other day and we all give him news about what's going on here. We plan on going out there on the 16th. My sister lives about 10 miles from the base so that's good. Michael will be ABH (Aviation Boatswain Mate A/C Handler. Your son must be going to Pensacola as well for A school

Susie,
I got a letter from Anthony today and he sounded pretty good. He said he got a fever after his tetnus shot but now feels good and that he likes PT and running to cadences. He likes the food also and is looking forward to getting into more exciting things. Makes me happy to think he is doing ok and not down. He is "northside body snatcher" that wanders through the ranks and looks for people about to pass out. He had gotten three letters from us. I mail one each day, just little pieces of news and maybe a picture inserted in the text.

Hi Susie,

I received one letter on Thurs., June 5th. He said that he is in a good DIV and is doing well. They are going to remove his two bottom wisdom teeth and that he was sick (I think because of the shots). I do wish that I could call to just check on him. I hope to get a letter today but we will see. I sent him a letter on Monday and will be sending out one today.

When I was making dinner on Tuesday night it was just me and my husband. Our daughter Julie, who is 14, was spending the night at her friend's house and Frank off at camp. I was feeling a little up-set and that something was missing. I do look forward to the PIR on the 18th of July to see my new Sailor. I hope you get a letter soon and please let me know.

Susie,
Anthony (I am trying to get used to calling him Anthony, Braden is his middle name and I am sure that is what he is being called now)has written us two letters, one the first week, one the second and I keep waiting for one now, but also a phone call would be nice. I am carrying the phone around with me at work and home, just in case. Other than that I am fine, just nervous all the time. How about you?
