As a group, we would like to adopt a group of sailors and send letters and/or packages. I think we N4M could make a big difference in some sailors lives if all of us would just write one letter (you can do more if you want)

Married, mother of 3 beautiful kids. My oldest son is leaving for the Navy Boot Camp on 10/30/08. I'm having serious mixed emotions, but am very proud of his decision.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It's extremely hard to cut the cord and let them go into the world on their own. I need to respect the decisions he will make as an adult.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

How is Shane? Ryan left for school back at GL yesterday morning. He's enjoying his weekend reconnecting with a few guys that he knows from BC. It's really nice that they are able to keep in touch with us now. Happy New Year.
