Wow, it makes me so proud to be in the Navy! Even though I'm just a DEPper, it really does feel good that these other courageous people will be my shipmates! We're all a team regardless of branch! It just makes me proud.

Must be careful, my son failed DP at MEPS. He went to private eye doctor and passed. Took letter and copy of test back to MEPS. Signed contract for "air rescue swimmer". and once in BC tested again and they stated he failed. I'm not sure where he'...

Yes you accually can reclassify. You just need to go to a doctor and have the depth perception test redone. Then have your recruiter send it to meps.

My son also failed the DP by the Navy doctor. We took him to our own eye doctor and he passed with flying colors. And the Navy accepted his letter from our eye doctor. Just be persistent. Good luck and HOORAH!!!
