Profile Information

About me:
I have three sons and three bonus (two sons and a lovely daughter) and have been married going on 7 years to a wonderful man named James. My oldest, Christoffer, is the Navy man...I'm so proud of him. He is so excited about the Navy. His maternal grandpa, uncle and paternal bonus brother are all navy guys. I even almost joined up but went to college instead. Chris told me about his decision after my father's funeral where he had a Naval send off...quite impressive. Chris has matured into a wonderful man. The Navy will be lucky to have him. He chose a SECP (submarine electronic computer program) and I look forward to visiting him in far away and exotic ports!! He'll get a good education and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a career man.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
His intensive testing and subsequent quick deployment. Wow...I thought it would take a while but it's going to be quick.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey! Thanks for the compliment! I'm sure you will be getting a letter or two pretty soon! Hopefully they will be able to call this week! 32 days! That's awesome that you are a social worker! Where are you working? I would LOVE to work as a social worker for the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL. They are searching for social workers and interns, SO I am praying my adviser will be able to "hook me up" with an out of state internship! I would also love to work under a Psychologist, like a case manager. I'm going to go ahead and get my masters, because it's only a one year program at the University of West Florida! I'm just so ready to graduate!
