I don't know of any, but that is a good question. Perhaps ask in one of the CA groups, maybe they know of something. Good Luck, Dori

That is the military for you...very uncertain. Actually that is about my only beef with the Navy...that and they are always taking my husband away from me..lol!! I hope you have a great weekend. It is finally here. Let me know the updates.

Hi, I just read your post on the SD group page. if you or your daughter need anything I would be more then happy to help. My husband is deployed right now as well and so it's just me. I have no pets or kids...so if she needs me to watch an animal I can. I hope you have a good day. Thanks and keep me posted. Oh ya...I was going to tell you I am from Lubbock, TX. Nice to meet you..have a great day,

Hi.....We have the same name ;-). I was just browsing the site and since I'm new and don't have many friends yet I thought that we might be able to chat sometimes (let me know)
How is Ashleigh doing in boot camp? My son Jerryn leaves Aug. 13th and I'm getting a litte nervous!

Thanks to all 3 of you for sending me my first messages!
Ashleigh is 22 and went to college for a year and a half and decided it just wasn't her cup of tea.
Really she didn't know what was her cup of tea. She had wanted to go into the military since she was just out of high school but I didn't really take it seriously at 18.
So now she knows what she wants to do. She wanted aviation but instead is going in as a BM. I think that is boatswains mate. She kinda got the run around as she was told she had AB and was just waiting for the contract. When she went to sign they said "Oh, those postions are all full so we got you in BM isntead". She knew it would delay her entry to deny the job so she went with it. She will miss the birth of her first neice (my first grand baby) tomorrow morning. I know she was really bummed about that but was really fired up about leaving and getting started in the Navy.
Okay, I could just go on and on. OH, I am having trouble adding a photo to my profile. Each time it says it has to be .jpg, etc. Well, my photo is a .jpg and it won't accept it. I even made it small. Any advice?
