- I'm 24 years old and from Parkersburg, WV. My husband Casey joined the Navy October 2009, PIRed on July 2nd 2010, completed most of the nuclear pipeline in Goose Creek, SC and Saratoga Springs, NY before finally being re-rated to BM. Now we are headed to San Diego, California for his first sea tour, aboard the LPD23 Anchorage!! I'm so excited!

Tricia (wife of MM3 Neil ) Nuke said… - Hi Vallery!! My name is Tricia, and I saw your post on Nuke Page! My Husband just graduated BC 11/13. He got to Charleston on wednesday! I will be going up for a visit next week for Thanksgiving! I am almost 9 months preggo, so I will not be making the move until after our son is born! (due to some complications as of late!)

- My husband's been here since the end of June, but I was photographer for a wedding in July, so me and our daughter didn't move down till the first week of August. Yeah, she knows she's cute, she's such a ham! Kids are always a challange that you kinda adapt to, haha. I'm not sure if there's ever going to be an easy time to have kids when living the Navy life, haha. We're talking about having another, and we've realized we'd rather do it when he's here than try later and risk him not being here for the birth. I don't know, haha, it's tough, and there's not really a right or wrong time in this place, lol! My husband is on T track right now, waiting for power school. He's on cleaning crew, so I lucked out and get to see him more often! A few of us girls get together randomly, haha, so I'll be sure to keep you updated so if you want, you can come along! Do you have a facebook? A bunch of us are in this group Thursday Girls, where girls from here on base get together at different places every thursday and eat, play with the kids, etc. Everyone's very friendly, so if you want I can have you added to the group so you'll get the emails! Normally we're at people's houses or parks and such.
Also, I didn't notice this last time, but you have my all-time favorite song on here (The Scientist)!!!!! That makes me happy =]
