Vicki, thank you for the message and good news about Sam. It will be nice for you having him closer to home. I hope all goes well with his Seals training. Billy is home on leave right now until probably next Monday. He just finished his last C-School in San Diego recently and is on hold waiting for his ship to return from deployment around mid Oct.

Profile Information

About me:
I am a 6th grade teacher, 22 years now. My husband is a carpenter, my daughter working toward her business degree. I was born and raised in San Diego. My family is still there so we visit often.
My son joined the navy program as a diver, then changed to SEAL. He graduated this last month, July, from boot camp. What an incredible experience for my family and a great weekend with my son.I am so excited for him on his new adventure.

Eat before you go...nothing there except drinks in machines. Get there at 6:00. You will wait in a long line of cars but it moves quickly. You will also sit for a very long time but that seems to go fast also, probably the anticipation. An experience I will never forget. Enjoy.
