Hi Wanda....haven't been back to N4M in a while. Busy with work. I don't know if others from Div 115 Ship 14 know about this website. I learned of it by chance from school and a teacher mentioning it. Her daughter had just graduated from boot camp so she knew all about it. My son is graduating this Friday. Is your child also? We are flying up Thursday in order to locate everything and check out Chicago. Stephen has been sick the whole time but pushed through. I heard from him on Friday and am looking forward to seeing him soon. He will be staying up there in Illinois, going to Advanced Electronics school across the street. Maybe we will be able to hook up with those our sons/daughters are moving on with. I agree with Brenda too, God bless them and keep them in good health. Ginny, Stephen's mom

Welcome to Navy 4 Moms, this is an exciting website and very informative... We would like to invite you to the Blue Candle Lighting event that occurs in your home anytime you wish to light a candle for your recruit sailor or the military in general. This is done to honor their service during the holidays, birthdays, special events or if you just want to. The Home for the Holidays/Blue Candle Moms also ask you join us in this group. This event and group has no special connections to "any one group" We are all Navy Moms, Wives, and we became Blue Candle Moms.... this included everyone on this website. Please come join us and share your stories and your lightings and your holidays with your child...this was done because some moms were not having their sailors home, and we are support group that can share feelings and fears. Annouce your child is coming home or the despair of knowing on certain holidays it is your sailor we light the candles for. To honor them for the service in the past present and future. To honor those that gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. We celebrate the freedom to be Blue Candle Moms and the freedom to light our candles anytime we choose. Please think about our group and the Event and when responding tell where you lit your candle, and the reasons for your paticular lighting. the event will continue and once you rsvp come in anytime and update your lightings

Hi, Welcome to Navy for Mom’s. You will find lots of support, advice, information, and friends here!! All you have to do is read, read, read!!

I would like to invite you to join the group of moms from Texas!! We are the largest state group on this site!! (Everything is bigger in Texas - including Navy Moms)!!

Just go to the groups tab and type in Texas in the search box. The icon of the group is the state of Texas, of course!! If you can’t find that, click on my picture to the left and it will take you to my page. You can find the same icon there. Just click on it and you can join us!!

Please leave a short message about where you live and what your sailor is doing. Also, please let us know how you found Navy for Moms.

My sailor son, Derek, is a MA (Master at Arms) - He is now stationed in Portsmouth, Virginia.
