- I am a mother of 4. My son is a Sailor, graduated June 19, 2009. I am so very proud of him. Daughter 22 attending ECU and also Office Manager of an Apartment Complex. Identical twin girls who are 12. I am a very busy mom.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- The opportunities my son will have in his new career but at the same time I miss his dearly and so waiting for that first phone call.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
