- About me:
- I am a proud mother of Jessica and MichaelAnthony. My daughter joined the United States Navy and was proudly serving our country. Unfortunately she had some medical issues arise and then a bad encounter with a marine that has taken a very big toll on her emotionally. She has been discharged with honors as it was not her fault what happened but yet has left a lasting image in her mind that we are now left to deal with back at home. I pray for the best for our sailors and I am proud to say that at one time I was a sailor mom. I will keep all of you and your children in my thoughts and prayers.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- You have to trust that when they leave the nest they will be taken care of. Sometimes you need to loosen the strings a little so their wings can expand. We still can teach them to fly but they also must learn on their own.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience

Today is my last day of work as well and I'm so ready for it to be over even if I did just walk through the doors.
I'm glad Jess made it home safely. Do we know anything more about her legs or what is causing this?
