I never knew how happy a couple of sentences could make me!

Well ladies and any gentlemen that may have stumbled upon reading this, I received the form letter today! I got his PIR date and everything. and at the bottom of the last page was a short note from my husband. Those couple of sentences just made me so incredibly happy! He let me know that he loved me and missed me, that he wouldn't be able to write for a couple of days, and that I would hear from him soon. He also wrote that he passed out in medical! My husband isn't a fan of needles or blood...… Continue

Job interview

The interview went well, I'll find out in the next couple of days if I got the job...there was one thing that bothered me though....it was a group interview...I just don't feel like group interviews are that great of an idea, some of the girls I interviewed with were navy wives and girlfriends so that was cool! Anyways.....I'm sending another letter out to my husband today...this is my 3rd letter I'll be sending... and he's been gone a week and some change...i know I'm ridiculous!

Passing the time while my husband's away

I'm trying to keep busy while my husband is in bootcamp so that the time passes quickly. I've decided to work on my son's baby scrapbook, and get a job. I have an interview today at bath and body works so WISH ME LUCK! =]

Nothing yet! Today is her 18th Birthday. I have wanted to be sad all day, but then I realize she's only seperated from us for a little while & I feel alot better knowing we will see her soon. How are you holding up?

Oh My God!!!! That's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that you're having so much trouble now that he's gone. One thing you will learn very quickly with him being in the military now is most of the responsibility falls to you. It will seem difficult at first, but hang in there. My recruits father is a Marine, so I know how you feel. There will be deployments & lots of military obligations to eat up his time! You have to be his "Rock"! I know you will do fine & If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know.

Sounds great! I just got a letter from the Commanding Officer & her estimated graduation date. Jan 08, 2010. Is this the same for you? I thought it would be sooner. I just wish I would get that first letter from her!!!

Thanks for response! It has been a long two weeks indeed. It's a great thing our loved ones are doing & we have much to be proud of! It sure doesn't change the fact the we miss them terribly! I do plan on being there for graduation, since we are only a couple of hrs away. I would be there if I lived on the other side of the world!! God Bless & keep in touch.

Hey! My name is Tammy and my son Zach is in the same divison. Zach is 19 and plans on being a machinist mate. Zach has a great sense of humor so I'm sure he is trying to keep things upbeat. I'm 46 and have a ten month old grandson. I read where you have an 11 month old! I actually am keeping him today so he is napping. I just had to go online and see what is happening with our Navy guys. I will write Zach today and tell him I met someone online who is married to a guy in his group. I know you are really missing your husband. Just try to stay busy and the time will go faster! I'm so happy to touch base with someone else in the same division!
