- My son was in Pensacola Fl for A school he came over for two weeks in April and is now in Virgnia Beach. Did your son graduate A school yet? Did he put in for leave? Maybe his paper work fell through the cracks. He should have been able to get leave by now. When did he start bootcamp?

- Thank you Alicia, Felicia graduated in two months ago and is waiting her deployment. She was sent to San Diego where we had a chance to see her before she boards ship! I hope you get some recent photos from Gus. I would like to see them. Take care and good luck!!

Molly said… - Hi Alicia, I'm hangin in ok. How are gettin along? I'm sure Gus will pass thorugh just fine. He did well enough to get in so he'll keep doing well.Heather has been in since June and has had several setbacks but she keeps her head up her eyes on the prize. Just keep encouraging him as I know you do and remind him as I did Heather to keep his head up and eyes on the prize. Boot camp sucks and it keeps them all on edge and nervous but after that it gets better most of the time. What rate is he going for? Take care and Merry Christmas

Proud Navy Mom Sue said… - The phone number to the Navy Lodge is 847-689-1485. I had some friends stay there before and said it was nice. It also looks nice, I googled it to see about it. I am only paying 65.00 for 5 of us. I had asked about how many people in a room and they said 5- 2 queen size beds and you can get a roll-away if you need it. There is also a microwave and fridge in the room. And also a coffee pot. Hope this helps.
