The grass may not be greener on the other side of the fence. All his army buddies telling him it is aren't being very helpful. What if he changes and then realizes he made a mistake and wants to change back?

The Air Force did accept prior service from other militrary branches in the past. I think they still do, but they have limited spots for this and their quota has probably been met.

Blue to Green Program....have him contact an Army Recruiter. It is very popular and should not be difficult to do for him. The only branch that does not take prior service is the Air Force.

My son has been in the Navy for 3 yrs. He's 22 yrs old. This was his dream since ROTC in high school. We are all very proud of him. Especially his 84 yr. old grandfather who is a WW2 vet. But he just told ud he is not happy w/ his job, he is an AZ...

don't spend a lot of time on the computer but check every once in a while--so it will take some time to build my page--just really pround that my son is in the Navy--and hope this helps all

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
