A group to prepare for deployment of our loved ones.
As a group, we would like to adopt a group of sailors and send letters and/or packages.
I think we N4M could make a big difference in some sailors lives if all of us would just write one letter (you can do more if you want)
I am soooo jealous also! Wish I could see my son off!!! Please post pictures if they will let you take them! Look forward to hearing about your experience in seeing them off. BTW... my son called last night and said he me someone on his ship that ...

Sandy, thanks for the information. Our son is also anxious to get on with his Navy career! He should be home Thursday for a visit before heading to Mayport.
Hi Sandy, my son is not on the ship yet, but he has been assigned and reports in about 2 weeks. I am sure I will need a lot of support as he deploys for the first time. He has just finished A School in Great Lakes.

- I am a mom of two. I have a daughter who is 27 and then my son who is 24. After college he decided he wanted something more so he enlisted in the US Navy! I currently work in medical billing and have the privledge of working from home. My husband and I just celebrated our 29th Anniversary...they went by quick.
We also have two black labs named Libby and Lexxy!
I decided to join this website so I could get feedback and support from other moms who have children in the Navy.

Our son just joined the Roberts' crew on Friday, as he has just finished school. He is a Quartermaster.

I have been on here almost a year, I was lucky enough to find it the day Peanut enlisted. We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
