Hi purple pig, my daughter is 13 and not on the list, we will not leave her in a motel room by herself so we are bringing her, any idea what will happen, what if we get there really early?
He finaly called, "I'm a sailor mom" we talked for over an hour! They all did really well, he said they fight like cats and dogs but when it counts they come together and work like a team.

- Hi-glad to hear PIR was so great-thanks for sharing. My son is PIR 9/11 so any hints or tips would be appreciated. For example, I saw you missed the sub tours...that is the only thing my husband cares about doing while we are there. Any clues on how to get on the tour? Also, what is Shedd? What time should we get to PIR to be able to get one more person in? We are staying at Residence Inn-any good place to eat around there that you know of? Anything you can think of would be appreciated.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express, we stayed at same chain in Fort Campbell and received very nice accomodations and service friendly helpful and very supportive of he armed services. I will also try to post a picture today lol same computer challenges. Congrats to u and your sailor. What division is your son with? Still waiting for the magic call my son is Div 262.

Which was good because my daughter was originally scheduled to graduate on the 7th of August, so i had purchased my tickets, made my hotel reservations, and then I had to change everything, the new dates were so much more expensive they double from what i had originally. Chromoville4ever said… - When you finally talk to Andy, tell him I understand that it's best not to have females in your group because there is so much more to learn (rules). Morgan and I talked about that being one of the disadvantages before she even begins and she tried to be ready physically so that she wouldn't hold the guys up more than necessary because she's "the girl"! :)
