GO MOMMY!!!!!! Don't mess with our kids...it may take more than a fleet to stave off Mom (lol).

Dee, a bee is rightly so! I am proud to be a Navy mom and tell everyone I meet how proud I am of our boys and girls, especially my own son. You go girl!!
Hey y'all, I posted two blogs, both of them about Red Shirt Friday. They were emails I got and I couldn't think of any other way to share them with you.
I'll say that I was deeply offended by a comment from a (non-PIR 9/3) mom. She claimed it was...

Susan, So sorry to hear about Marissa. I hope everything turns out for her in the best way so she can be happy and healthy. Please stay in touch. Sending love and prayers her way.
Hi Barbara - thanks for your words. I am taking the day off tomorrow to get some calls made. The first ones will be to our attorney and MD. Marissa was fine before she left home. This happened to her in Boot Camp and was made worse with the poor treatment she was given in A school. I am trying really hard to be objective, but I'm also trying my hardest to cover our bases. From what I've already read on this site, she has no benefits because she's been in for less than 6 months. My husband talked to a teacher he works with who's been through this nightmare. She told him to advise Marissa not to sign anything. We already have medical power of attorney and I will be calling our MEPS to get info about who to call at Great Lakes tomorrow. She's only 18, for God's sake! She can't do this on her own.
