What time was graduation? Is it always held at the same time no matter what the PIR date is? We are trying to make travel plans (driving) and its so hard when you have no idea when you should even leave? lol

Hi, my name is Tammy and my son told me to look for you on Navy for moms. My son talked about your son and said they were going to Pensecola together, however my son is going in for AO Aviation Ordnanceman. He really gets along with your son and speaks highly of him. They must have similar personalities!? Just thought I would let you know how your son impacts others in a positive way. I really got into this site late in the game and wish I had been on sooner. I just can't believe how much support is on this site. I sure could have used that back in June when my son left home for boot camp. Well you take care and we will see you at Great Lakes!!

Where you been girl? I haven't heard from you in weeks it seems? Heard any dates on 275 for battle station? Are you about ready for the trip? I know I am :-)

Hi. I wrote to Crissy but seems like she didn't get my message or she doesn't believe what I said so I thought I'll write to you and maybe you can let her know.

About liberty, no one gets liberty past Sunday. All the sailors have just Fri, Sat and Sun to spend time with their families. They do have to report back to base every single night though. They might not go to "A" school right away but they are not allowed off base After Sunday and they do have things to do every single day until they leave.

So please let the other moms know so they won't change the plans and get disappointed later on. If you have any question regarding to this or something else, just let me know.

If I don't hear from you, have a safe trip and have a great time at PIR!

Thanks for the well wishes. Last week I had gotten two letters but I also got a letter today Yay! He said he was doing well and mentioned that he didn't like making his bed much either :-). He said that they had not gotten to read their mail until July 3td but was counting on calling on July 4th, I don't know what happened that he didn't but he sounded good in his letter, but he did say that he was having some teeth pulled on the 7th or 8th so he would be in SIQ. I guess that is where he was yesterday. He also said that the RDC made him "stick man" which is similar to flag corps. He also said that he probably would have liberty from Friday to Wednesday after PIR. I don't know if that means he won't have to go back to the base at night, but either way, I better think about changing my plans as I was planning on leaving on Sunday afternoon, but two or three more days with him, I better grab them don't you think? He will have A school in San Diego so I won't see him for a long time....a lot longer than 8 weeks.

I will ask Eric if he knows Steven. Surely the tats will clue him in. All I can say about Eric is he has glasses. So Steven and John are bunkmates, what a coincidence. I am waiting on a call....why doesn't he call? :-) guess I'm getting a lesson in patience.
