Hi ladies! I am new to this group. I live northeast of Tulsa. My daughter just graduated from bootcamp on 9-18, and left for Pensacola today for "A" school ! I am looking forward to getting to know some of you fellow Okie Moms!

- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- My husband served 6 years on a nuclear submarine, so I am somewhat familiar with the Navy. I hope this will be a good experience for my daughter and that she will benefit greatly for the rest of her life from her service.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

- Hi, thanks for the compliment, yes my daughter really likes to sing. Actually she wanted to join the American idol, but I was the one who discourage her not to. Aurora doesn't know either when she will be classified. She was telling me that it's okay not to be classified yet, because she's kinda scared to be in the fleet, because of the news that some people had accident.

- Hi, I'm still here. Yes I get to talk to Aurora probably 3 or 4 times a day. They have not started schooling yet. What they do is clean and clean the barracks lol. How are you? Do you get to talk to Ashley often?

- Hi, were you there? Becky and I were looking for you. We just could not remember your name. Did you attend the meet and greet? My gosh you should have introduce yourself to me. I was sitted at the 3rd row extremely left, I was with fellow filipinos and I was wearing red jacket. I'm so sorry to hear that you only had a few hours with your daughter. I stayed until sunday morning. Yes I will keep in touch. Please tell me your daughter's name. Send it in my inbox. So that I could tell her. I was able to talk to her 3x today...Isnt' nice....
