Brenda, I live in Lewis Center and work in Westerville, OH which is just on the outskirts of Columbus. I am not north enough to be in the snowbelt (at least I think). I am freezing however, all the time. I am surprised how cold it is and it is only early October. I have a funny feeling this is going to be a very long winter for me. My son completed A school in Goose Creek, SC but is now headed back to Great Lakes, IL for training. He has been reassigned. From there he will go to Florida and await his first deployment. I heard rumor that it will be a 9 month deployment. I am both anxious and excited for him. He is my oldest of three kids and to be honest he impresses me everyday with how much he is evolving from a kid to a man. He just turned 19 in Sept. and got married last week when he was home on leave. Yikes! He married one of my best friends daughters and they have known each other since they were 10. He has never been happier however we worry because they are so young. There is just no talking them out of some things. I pray they make it. I would love to hear more about you and your son. It looks like Canton is north east of me. I bet it is colder where you are? Please keep in touch-so nice talking with you.

I am so glad someone told you about the baording passes. We were told at the USO that if we showed ID, we could get passes to wait with him. IT was so ahrd. I know how youa re feeling, but please know it will get better. Just makes the reunion that much sweeter! Hang in there---

Brenda-

11 a.m. on Oct 24. Where do we want to meet to drive up there? We could meet in the WalMart lot. That might be about halfway between you and me.
